Every master has a tool runs across the center in gold and black, set over a column of text about ride-ins and sit-ins, tactics tried in the 1870s, then tried again a century later. Around it: an ICE agent, the Kaaba, Trump as the Pope, Dixie's Land sheet music, Obama searching for his Glock, Candace Owens, and hands holding Cobalt for a mine in the Congo. This collage questions the tools we use, contemplating Audre Lorde’s statement that “the master's tools will never dismantle the master's house”
